We need this holiday like a hole in the head.
Isn’t every day Blame Someone Else Day? Nothing is ever our fault. It’s his; he started it. Or hers. Or theirs. It sure wasn’t mine, I didn’t do it, and it definitely wasn’t yours. Shoot, we’re so busy pointing fingers and name-calling, belittling and accusing, we don’t have time for anything else.
That’s what Americans do these days; we blame other Americans. Like you, you pinko bleeding heart Nazi misogynist liberal right wing leftie cretin. Visit any Comments Section on any blog discussing any topic and you’ll see what I mean. Virtually every one of them degenerates into a vicious, unhinged harangue against the left wingers or the far right, the President or healthcare or entitlements or gun rights … or or or. Let’s all choose sides and start casting aspersions, shall we?
No. Sit down and shut up. I’ve had it up to here with your tiresome, self-righteous rhetoric. Shame on you. Aren’t you embarrassed to be so whiny and ill-tempered? You come across as a bunch of wienies. Really, you do. But go ahead; blame the President or the Supreme Court or Ralph Nader for the sad state of things. Blame the world for your failures and mistakes and missed opportunities.
But you know what? It’s not the politicians. It’s you.
Your miserable, shitty life is no one’s fault but your own. Turn off the TV. Think an original thought. Mow your grass. Daydream. Take a nap. Walk your dog. Make a freaking contribution, why don’t you? Do something. But stay the &%^# off the Internet until you can control yourself and act like a civilized grown-up. You’re annoying the crap out of me.
Now, shut the Hell up and go away.
