an explanation and a joke

paperwork2I’ve overextended myself again, but I think I finally figured out why I do that so often. Because saying ‘no’ closes a door and I like them open, just in case. You don’t always get a second chance, you know.

Here’s what happened: I accepted a project from a friend of mine that’s tons of fun, but also nine tons of work. Then the business cards needed to be finished and a couple new header designs are underway. All with a new — and utterly unfamiliar — computer. Plus, I’m in the process of finding a new place to live.

So in lieu of a real, honest-to-goodness post, I’m substituting with a Joke of the Day. Although it could turn out to be a week. Or more. Please stand by.
